War Eagle!

Auburn was playing in the SEC championship this year, and my family decided to go! I am so glad we did. We had such a fun time! I drove home from school on a Friday afternoon, and we hit the road and headed to Atlanta an hour later. We stayed a few blocks from the Georia Dome. I have never seen so many drunk people in my entire life. It was almost funny because people were slamming into the revolving doors, and stumbling onto the escalators.
The next morning we got up and went to fanfair. The Auburn band came in and played and got everyone pumped up! Then we headed to the Georgia Dome to find out seats. We had GREAT seats! This was my view!

Then the game started. The crowds were WILD! I have never seen people get so excited about football, but it was so much fun! Auburn ended up winning the game 56-17. That made the fourth quarter so much fun, because we knew we would win the game.

Nursing School

Nursing school has officially started! The first week of school was an absolute whirl wind. I moved back to school on Sunday and buckled down for a snow storm monday. I woke up every hour on the hour that night checking my e-mail to see if school was canceled. No such luck!
Monday morning started bright and early at 8 AM. We had about four inches of snow on the ground and classes still met. We went to our first class, had breakfast, met with the dean, practiced for the stethoscope ceremony, then back to class. We had lunch then two more classes. We finished classes around 4 and had our stethoscope ceremony at 5. My parents couldn't make it due to the snow, but my Aunt and cousins just happened to be down from KY.
Nursing school is absolutly overwhelming at times. There is so much reading, little assignmets, things to memorize, and did I mention reading?!?! Tonight blackboard is down, and everything I need to do is on Blackboard. I'm thinking thats God's way of saying stop stressing and studying!
Here are a few pictures from the stethoscope ceremony:
