Changes

Life since my last post has changed a lot. All of the Johnson residents have moved in, we have a new head resident, classes are half way done and I am seriously considering changing my major.

The first few weeks of school were absolute chaos. School started on Monday and we found out we lost our head resident on Tuesday. Wednesday two girls on my hall came down with the swine flu. Wednesday night I had my hall meeting and dorm wide progressive snacking.

There is never a quiet moment in the dorm, but we are no longer in panic mode. The flu has passes, we have a new RHD, and we have survived all dorm events.

My classes this year are a little more difficult, but I am still enjoying them. My favorite class this semester has been microbiology. I have enjoyed every day of micro! Math has been my least favorite class, but I just found out that everything can be done on my calculator! Hopefully that class will be getting easier.

Today is the last day of fall break. Most of the residents are coming back into the dorms tonight. I have lobby duty, so it will be a long night. Hopefully I will be able to keep busy studying for my basic foods final tomorrow night!

College!

The past couple of weeks have been a complete whirl wind. I moved to college at the beinning of August for RA training. We had training on and off campus for a week. It was a wonderful week and I was able to meet many new people! This week has been spent getting the residence halls ready for everyone to move in. We have been decorating the halls, posting signs, checking rooms and making goodie bags. Everyone should be moved in by Sunday night! I am looking forward to meeting all of the girls that live on my hall!
Today my parents came up to celebrate my birthday! They brought the rest of my room decorations. Hopefully my room is almost finished! Here are a couple of pictures from my room!
